View over Guayaquil, Ecuador

We spent one day here, in the southern capital of Ecuador, a center of business. Previously known for poverty and violence, the beachfront and central reconstruction is one of the great urban renovation projects in South America. It's now worth spending a day, strolling through iguana park and along the Malecon.
